Service Description
Brush & Book Club is a monthly artist-led creative experience where storytelling meets art. Each session is inspired by a selected Book of the Month, and together we create a guided artwork that reflects its themes, atmosphere, and sense of wonder. Designed for all skill levels, the focus is on mindful creativity, connection, and enjoying the process in a relaxed and welcoming environment. This September, we're stepping through the stones and into the sweeping world of Outlander by Diana Gabaldon. Inspired by the rugged beauty of the Scottish Highlands and the story's intertwining of history, romance and time, we'll spend the afternoon creating a painting that captures a little of Outlander's wild, atmospheric spirit. Whether you're completely new to painting or already confident with a brush, Brush & Book Club is about slowing down, making time for creativity, and sharing a meaningful experience with fellow readers and art lovers. π Book of the Month: Outlander by Diana Gabaldon π Saturday 19 September β° 14:00 β 16:30 π Banchan Tea Room, Parkmore, Johannesburg π° R465 Your Ticket Includes: β’ Artist-led guided creative workshop β’ All art materials provided β’ Beginner-friendly options available β’ Monthly featured colour highlight with a take-home shimmer dot card β’ Tea, coffee, or soft drink β’ Pastry β’ A small reader's gift β’ A relaxed and supportive creative atmosphere inspired by the Book of the Month No prior painting experience is needed.
